Perspective on the Trucker Convoy from a Canadian (part 1/2)
"Truckers drew a line in the sand and millions of us have joined them. Truly history in the making. Finally feeling proud to be a member of the human family again. Regardless of the outcome, Love has already won over fear. It’s about time."
Let me tell you what’s really going on in the land of snow and ice. Ottawa is my hometown, so I’m at ground zero (well, not quite…I live in rural Ottawa well isolated and insulated from the sheeple). This is my experience to date (quoted from an email sent to a friend in Australia today):
“I’ve been sobbing tears of gratitude all week. Every single day. This gorgeous movement has helped me realize the immensity of the oppression we have been subjected to for far too long. It feels like an exhale when I didn’t even realize I’d been holding my breath for so long. I feel a palpable shift in my nervous system lately. This has become a truly beautiful expression of the human Spirit that is uniting millions of us around the globe. The more they now try to divide us, the more we now unite. I've already donated money, time, food, my home, and my presence on Saturday to love, support, and cheer them on as they drive the final leg of their incredible journey into my hometown.
Regardless of the outcome, Love has already won. I was ashamed to be Canadian; to be human for the past few years. Two weeks to "flatten the curve", and “we are all in this together" turned into two years of oppression that divided the masses into fearing and hating each other. Disgraceful hardly says it. The skilful manipulation of legacy/corporate media and the political puppets belonging to the globalist billionaires have turned the world into a depressing place. This was never about a cold/flu. Not for a second. This has always been about some other, more sinister agenda.
And now it’s crumbling.
Everywhere.
This “Convoy for Freedom” has become a profoundly spiritual movement. It is so much bigger than mandates, vaccines, lockdowns, masks, and all the other brutality that has been utilized over the past 2 years to divide us. This is about love triumphing over fear. This is an epic moment in history that I am proud to be a part of.
The energy here is incredible. No words can convey the feeling. I’ve never experienced anything like this before.
This afternoon I dropped off a huge food donation and the energy at the drop off location was…beyond words. Everybody was hugging, crying, laughing. Total strangers. Nothing matters anymore. Any differences that once defined us are gone. We are all here for the freedom that is our birthright as a human family. This has become a true expression of Oneness! So much food, and boxes and boxes of anti-freeze and other auto supplies. This was only one of many drop-off locations to the rural west, where I live. These drop-off locations are everywhere. Tomorrow they converge onto the city from every conceivable direction. I will be cheering the west-to-east convoy.
I also met a kindred spirit/First Nations man (Howie) working at the hardware store today. He's cooking for the truckers tonight and joining the convoy tomorrow. I looked at him with tears in my eyes (which he matched), and without a word, we just hugged. Just because we are human. If there is ever any question about the energy of a higher power within the human Spirit, it becomes moot in the presence of the amazing energy here. I’ve met so many great people through this movement already, and it continues every day.
This is the Canada I remember.
I’m so distracted by this whole thing that I can’t get any work done anymore. It seems so irrelevant now anyway. I’ve attached a photo of the banner I made this morning for my highway overpass cheering spree tomorrow morning. I will stand in the freezing cold (and it has been a really, really brutal winter!) from start to finish. Apparently the west-to-east convoy is over 100km long. They’ve also raised almost $8 million for this effort. SO FAR!
